Dollhouse: Berlinale. JDIFF. SXSW

Only moments to go before the legend Kirsten Sheridan unveils her latest feature Dollhouse in the Panorama section of the Berlinale. Yeah!

Heartfelt congratulations to Kirsten, Producer John Wallace and the talented young crew Seana, Johnny, Ciaran, Kate and Shane for all their hard work during the maddest film shoot ever. If you're a Berliner get down there and see 'Das Puppenhaus' now!

The film will also screen at JDIFF in Dublin this month and at SXSW in Austin so plenty chances to see what the inside of drug-addled young minds look like on screen.

I think this piece of movie is the most idiotic and uncecessary I've seen in years. It's crap in almost any dicipline of film making I can think of. Actually, the only thing that was remarkable once in awhile was the cinematography, everything else is just really so awful. Not only is the spectator left behind with no clue what the fuck the whole story is supposed to be about, the director didn't even care for real characters or any releationship between them. Some portion of violence here and there, some sex because it sells, and none of the approaches chosen adds anything to the nonexistant story.

I have no idea what the motivation is to waste time and money to produce such a stripe, but if I'm left with anything than irritation, it's the strong wish that the dorks who are responsible for this never try to shoot another movie. Ever,

wow peter , clearly you are an extremely ignorant person who is incapable of feeling any deep or complex emotion or has compassion of any kind. you do not have to take everything you see so literally. I feel sorry for you as your nose must be so large you are unable to see past it. :)

ps: clearly i think this film is amazing and was greatly moved by it :) :)

Thanks for the comments guys, Christal am blushing...

Peter I'm glad you're speaking your mind and Anonymous thanks for defending Kirsten's work.

Dollhouse is an interesting film I believe, maybe far ahead of it's time but certainly not a film for all audiences.

Personally I hope it continues to polarize opinion... that's what makes things interesting no?

You made some decent points there. I looked on the internet for the issue and found most individuals will go along with with your website.

There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.
